So what are the right keywords? There are a few good answers for this and some really bad answers. A bad answer would be to have EVERY single word as a keyword. Well first, if you have a gaming forum, it isn’t such a great idea to build up keywords based on politics. Well I mean it will help but you will end up getting members that want to talk about politics rather than gaming and that can turn off other members.

But what about general blogs? Well blogs and forums are very different. Blogs are much easier to manage and the category system keeps it a lot more organized than forums. Search engines can read the archives of blogs much easier than they can with forums and since forum’s pick up more activty and posts in a shorter period of time, it is a good idea to build up keywords based on your forum niche.
