Free or Paid?
This is just a personal opinion and don’t let this affect any of you when you are going around submitting to directories. Well first you may know about the Free web directories out there and also know about the paid web directories. Usually free ones are more popular than paid ones because, well because they are free of course. No one likes Paying for anything.
There are also directories that have free and paid listing options and they can be just as popular. Personally I would never pay to get listed into a web directory because there is no telling how long the directory will be up unless it is attached to a big website or is owned by a bigger site. The yahoo Directory is probably one of the safest to submit too but it’s just too expensive. $300 for a year is ridiculous and that is nearly $1 per day. But anyway when it comes to free vs. paid listings, I’d go for the free ones, which will you go with?
